Italian friends and my personality

Hi.
My friend intoduces me her friends who are from Italy.
I have studied Italian from last year but I don't have a chance to speak italian so I can't speak...
However, I made two friends from Italy!
I met them on Monday but I could not talk with them freely because my Italian skill is poor.
I was really happy to meet them but I was shocked at the same time.
I am interested in Italy but I can't speak though I am learning Italian.
I should try to study Itarian harder.

On Tuesday Roman told my personality in the Media English lesson.
On the blog spot, I said I don't like children.
Roman was very very amazed and he told that to every classmate.
It's okay.
It's true.
But I don't say "I hate children".
I don't like children especially crying babies.
But Roman said too emphatically!
I am not a so cool person like s devil.
